Carrollwood is a small unincorporated community located in Hillsborough County. The area of Carrollwood is small, but one of the most affluent and safe suburbs of Tampa. The area offers its residents a dense suburban feel and most residents of the area do own their homes. The area is known for its high class, low crime, and wonderful attractions. Many young professionals and families live in Carrollwood because of its proximity to downtown Tampa where many work, as well as the above average school districts. There are many attractions in the area for the residents to enjoy. A couple to mention are, Busch Gardens, the roller-coaster theme park, and the 63-acre, Lowry Park Zoo. Both destinations are enjoyed by many tourists from all over the nation year after year.
